Hello Everyone, and welcome back to the Stamper’s by the Dozen October Blog Hop. This month our theme is Masculine, so I decided to showcase a few different cards using a couple of different techniques.
Clearly masculine doesn’t automatically mean blue, but I decided to create cards that i will actually be using and all the males in my life like the colour blue.
I first made this type of card when i have been making some little gift bags and had some narrow slighter of DSP left over. Since then i have loved it, it makes for a quick and easy cards but yet looks really intricate. I decided to stay with the colours blue of this; Night of Navy, Dapper Denim and Pacific Point. The strips are all 1/4″ in width.
Dad – Simple Card & Eclipse Card
this again is a very simple card just using layering and die cutting using the Large Letter Thinlets. the first card just uses the negative of each letter with Foiled Silver Cardstock behind. The second uses the cut outs; I layered these back on using dimensionals to create the Eclipse card effect.
One Wild Ride Card
I really do love this stamp set, I love the sketch/old style of the motorbike, it really makes card look beautiful with little effort. The Wood Texture DSP is a great paper and and can be used for many occasions, I love to use it as backgrounds on cards.
I hoped you enjoyed readying my blog post and that some of my ideas have inspired you to create some amazing projects for the males in your life; please let me know in the comments below.
