Happy Valentines Day!!!
Today I thought I would share with you the card I have made for my boyfriend . Each time I make a card for him I try a new technique or type of card, this year I decided to try a moving card. There are so many amazing cards out there; I really want to try them all. I did however settle on the shutter card technique. So lets get started . . .
Dimensions & Scoring
Card Base – Bermuda Bay – 12″ x 5″ – scored on the long side at 3″ and 9″
Card Inner – Bermuda Bay – 6″ x 3″
Sliding Sections (2 no) – Calypso Coral – 5 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ – scored on the long side at 1/2″
- Triangle section removed 2 3/8″ along the long side and to the corner on the short side
Front DSP (2 no) – Bubbles & Fizz – 5 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
Inner DSP – Bubbles & Fizz – 5 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
Using the small hear from the Heart Happiness stamp set i heat embossed this as the reveal section using gold embossing powder.
I still wanted this card to be manly, which i think I achieved by the use of the Bubble & Fizz DSP, his favourite colours are blue and orange so this worked perfectly.
